Eagle’s Wings Flight School is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of a diverse group of individuals who are committed to investing in the lives of young people.

  • Josh Cordery

    CHAIR OF THE BOARD; RCAF INSTRUCTOR PILOT

    Josh has a passion to share his love for aviation with young people, especially those who never thought it would be an option for themselves.  He possesses the highest level instructional category awarded by the RCAF on rotary and fixed wing aircraft and has over 2000 hours of instructional time.

  • Ken Baker

    EWFS DIRECTOR; KF AERO FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

    Ken possesses the highest instructor rating awarded by Transport Canada and several thousand hours teaching flying at the entry level.  Ken brings technical expertise as well as a commitment to removing barriers that might prevent or hinder any young person from having equal opportunities and a hope for their future.

  • Pete Musters

    EWFS FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR; RCAF INSTRUCTOR PILOT

    Pete is an accomplished instructor with the Royal Canadian Air Force, flying a Bell 412 helicopter in his day job.  Pete has a heart of gold; he currently volunteers with Youth Flight Canada, the Portage Rotary Club, Eagle’s Wings, and can be found lending a hand wherever it is needed in his free time.

  • Twich Pongpanich

    EWFS FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR; KF AERO FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR

    The newest addition to the Eagle’s Wings team, Twich is a former spray pilot with 1300 hours total time. He’s a Class 3 flight instructor currently teaching entry level RCAF pilots at Southport. Twich is excited to work with youth and share his love of flying with our students.

  • Billy Buchan

    EWFS AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER; FACILITIES AND MAINTENANCE WESTPARK SCHOOL

    Billy became a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in 2019 and has incredible knowledge and understanding of mechanics and engines.  When he’s not fixing just about anything, Billy loves working with youth and has a heart to mentor and teach the next generation.

  • Ashley Ozunko

    EWFS DIRECTOR; JUNIOR HIGH TEACHER, DAKOTA PLAINS SCHOOL

    Ashley has several years experience working with families and youth under the umbrella of CFS. Ashley’s personal commitment to life long learning, and her understanding and experience with the many barriers that at-risk youth face bring invaluable insight and direction to our team.

  • Evan Lilley

    EWFS DIRECTOR; RCMP CONSTABLE NORWAY HOUSE, MB

    Evan has a degree in Criminal Justice/Political Science and his heart for justice is displayed through his work with communities and individuals as an RCMP officer. Evan is a leader among his generation and he represents them well in our group.

    EWFS SECRETARY; HIGH SCHOOL MATH TEACHER, WESTPARK SCHOOL

    Jason is enthusiastic about education and he brings a career’s worth of classroom experience to this team. His heart to love and encourage those who are marginalized is evident in all that he does.

    Ashleigh has a background in sales, marketing and finance, experience with volunteer-based programming, and a passion for administration. She is excited about our mission and we’re thankful to have her working behind the scenes
